Moja-moja

We used recycled LAN cables named “Moja-moja” for the interior design of Tetchan, a yakitori bar in Kichijoji’s Harmonica Yokocho. The bar counter and chairs were made using what we call “acrylic ball”, a recycled acrylic byproduct material. A mass of unsorted, colorful LAN cables is sprawled across the walls, lights and chairs, creating a unique atmosphere that is strangely soft. The bar owner’s main complaint has been that “the number of cables seems to be gradually decreasing as they get pulled out little by little”.
