Architect, Director of SEKISUI HOUSE – KUMA LAB, Project Assistant Professor, The University of Tokyo<\/p>\n
Born in 1985. Hirano holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree from Kyoto University (2009) and received his Master of Architecture degree from Princeton University (2012), where he was awarded the Suzanne Kolarik Underwood Prize. He is a licensed architect and holds a PhD. His design works include “Reinventing Texture” and “Ontology of Holes”. He served as a guest editor for a+u: 2017 May issue which features emerging architects in the US.<\/p>\n
