Jean-Louis Cohen – Becoming Frank Gehry

Architect and architectural historian Jean-Louis Cohen has been invited by SEKISUI HOUSE – KUMA LAB to give a lecture on Frank Gehry. The lecture will mainly focus on Gehry’s works in Los Angeles from the 1950s, when he first began as an architect, to the late 1970s and the construction of his Santa Monica residence.
Cohen is the guest editor of the January 2023 issue of a+u, titled “Becoming Frank Gehry”, which presents the development of Gehry’s career through the sketches of early works to Guggenheim Bilbao museum.
