We exhibited at Tokyo Creative Salon 2025 held from March 13 to March 23, 2025.
In this exhibition, we showcased the five-year journey of “SEKISUI HOUSE – KUMA LAB”, and constructed a space under the theme:
“EXCESS – What can architecture do with AI in an age of excess?”
We presented works based on the concept of the “Garden of Excess,” which the Hirano Studio has been exploring over the past three years. The exhibition raised the question of how architecture as a discipline can respond to an era overflowing with material and informational excess. Under the guidance of Specially Appointed Lecturer Toshiki Hirano, 24 students from Japan and abroad utilized cutting-edge generative AI technology to express their unique identities and creativity.
