Executive Counselor of The Building Center of Japan, Senior Advisor to the Governor of Japan Bank for International Cooperation

Born in 1953. Joined Ministry of Construction in 1976. Served as Director-General of Housing Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT), Director-General of Regional Revitalization Bureau of Cabinet Secretariat, Special Advisor to the Cabinet and Special Advisor to the Prime Minister. In the meantime, served as the Special Research Professor of Keio University, the Visiting Professor of National Graduate Institute for Policy Studies and the Chair Professor of the Special Visiting College of Graduate School of Engineering of the University of Tokyo. Representative Books; “City Planning Doctrine Using Floor Area Ratio Relaxation”, “Sustainable Life-like Architecture (joint authorship)”
